Catalyst is a chemistry term. It’s a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without being changed or used up in the process. In our case, creativity is a natural catalyst
that each of us has, which can be used to improve the Thank-You Note writing process.
Creativity is located between the ears, behind the eyes, and encased in your imagination. Its
effects are demonstrated every day in many ways.

     One of the reasons people come to me for help on their writing projects is because they
know what they want to say, but they don’t know HOW to say it! Many times people get
stuck and confused, then become extremely frustrated after starting a Thank-You Note like
this:
 

I am known for having a “way with words.” Along with the secret ingredients of Imagination
and a Good Sense of Humor, and a little practice using your “Creative Catalyst,” you, too,
will develop your own “way with words.”
